Crackdown over illegal gambling in Asia

The crackdown in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand arrested more than 5000 people in Asia operation against illegal gambling held during the Fifa World Cup in South Africa. The police operations seized more than $10 million. The Interpol reported that the police in those countries identified and raided nearly 800 illegal gambling dens.

Moreover, during the operation Soga III, which ran from June 11th trough July 11th at the same time of World Cup 2010, the Interpol said that the police seized with them on assets including cars, fake banks cards, computers stolen and cell phones stolen.
